Doug Brown is the Founder and President of DABCC, Inc.  Doug has more than 15 years of experience in virtualization, cloud, and server based computing technologies and markets. DABCC is the first and most visited website dedicated to all elements of virtualization and features news and resources. Doug was awarded the Microsoft Most Valuable Professional (MVP) by Microsoft Corporation for his contributions to the industry. He has also been acknowledged with the Citrix Technology Professional (CTP) and VMware vEXPERT awards for his continued support in the IT community. Doug speaks at leading industry events and has been a prolific author for over 14 years. 

Thomas Poppelgaard - Poppelgaard.com

Thomas Poppelgaard is a technology evangelist and subject matter expert in remote graphics and helping companies virtualize 2D/3D graphics in the cloud for customers around the world. He specializes in how CAD/CAE/CAM/entertainment/media applications can be virtualized with Citrix, VMware, and Microsoft SBC/VDI technologies with NVIDIA and AMD offerings, he has worked extensively with Citrix HDX 3D Pro since 2008. In 2011 he was one of the organizers of a successful event where vendors including Citrix, HP, Autodesk and NVIDIA were gathered to demonstrate HDX 3D Pro to a wider audience, and in 2013 he spoke at NVIDIA’s GPU Technology Conference and at Citrix HQ on a Webinar for global markets.

Val King - CEO, Whitehat Virtual Technologies

In addition to being CEO of Whitehat Virtual Technologies, Val is also CIO for Val Verde Regional Medical Center (VVRMC) in Del Rio, TX. As part of that position, Val has guided VVRMC as they completely rebuild their IT infrastructure and move into the 21^st century. The hospital is a McKesson Paragon user, and Val has dealt with all the technical, political and compliance issues that come as part of implementing this type of EMR solution. Because of this dual role, he is uniquely position to understand both the business and IT aspects of healthcare in the U.S. today.

R. Todd Thomas - CIO, Austin Radiological Associates

Todd is the Chief Information Officer for the Austin Radiological Association MSO, LLC (ARA), a specialty health care organization offering a complete range of medical imaging services throughout central Texas. Prior to joining ARA, Todd was a software programmer for Medaphis Physician Services Corporation where he developed interfaces to multiple healthcare applications. With over 20 years of healthcare IT experience, his technical leadership has garnered ARA multiple technology awards from IT publications.

George Suarez - CIO, CommuniCare San Antonio

George has 24 years of experience working in community health centers, including 18 years at CommuniCare. He has served in many roles including front office operations, insurance billing office manager, and has implemented several patient management systems. He has 15 years of experience in IT, with significant expertise in statistics/data management, Servers, Desktops, Storage and Virtualization mainly utilizing VMWare. He became CommuniCare CIO in 2002.

Carol Maginn - Dell Information Management Group

Carol brings to Dell over 20 years’ experience in information/data management. Her passion for science and technology, and commitment to excellence, has enabled numerous companies to leverage their most valuable asset – data.   Prior to joining Dell, Carol’s career has included successful roles with Pitney Bowes, Fluor Corp and Invensys Software.   Her numerous awards include the Pitney Bowes PB1 Award for Performance Excellence.  

In her current role at Dell, Carol provides solutions to harness the power of predictive analytics to make data-driven decisions resulting in increased productivity, reduced risk, and greater return on investment.

Briggs Horne - Sr. Storage Engineer,  Dell Storage

Briggs Horne is a Storage Architect at Dell Inc. focusing on the sizing, deployment, administration, and monitoring of Dell Compellent and Dell EqualLogic SANs. Briggs is a graduate of Baylor University and has been with Dell since 2000 primarily supporting Dell PowerEdge servers, blades, virtualization, EqualLogic, Compellent and EMC storage arrays. 

Richard Percaccio - Channel Storage Executive, Dell Storage

As a Dell Storage Executive Rich manages channel partner relationships and customer opportunities.  As a 15 year Dell employee he has held various roles including account manager, technical sales, outside account executive in commercial accounts, outside systems consultant and global marketing for storage and cloud.  Rich has presented in front of channel partners and customers globally and while focusing on storage solutions in his current role, has an extensive back ground spanning the entire datacenter.  Rich is a graduate of the University of Texas at Austin and is local to the Austin area. 

Ken Kelleher - Channel Sales Mgr., Dell Cloud Computing

Ken Keller has international business experience having worked with many companies world wide on various IT project verticals. He has over 24 years of experience in the IT industry in the areas of sales and business development supporting Dell Partners and their customers in North America. Currently he serves as the North Central Channel Sales Manager for Dell Cloud Client Computing focusing on Desktop Virtualization. Prior, he worked on the Dell Wyse team as the Public Sector Channel Sales Manager for North America and as the Dell Channel Team Public Sector Specialist for the West.

Mark Ferro - Channel Solutions Executive, Dell Networking

IT Experienced Sales Professional with over 23 years of results oriented sales, both direct as well as in the channel. Product expertise has revolved around storage solutions as well as data center and campus networking. Demonstrated ability to meet sales revenue commitments, and delivered on all areas of the sales cycle such as proposals, product plans, competitive analysis, and order fulfillment.

Dan Garbacz - Channel Sales Engineer, Dell Networking

Dan's job is to identify and develop channel partners who will lead with Dell Networking products, and to educate and ensure that channel partners are up to date on these solutions. He also works with Dell partners to effectively design networking solutions for customers and prospects. Dan also designed and implemented a training course in wireless concepts and solutions that required close communication with Aruba networks.

Jason Moody - Enterprise Solutions Specialist, Dell Mobility

Jason joined Dell in 2010 to serve as a technology evangelist and mobility expert to large enterprise, public and mid-market customers. In his role, he engages with customers to help them identify how mobility technology can increase productivity. His areas of expertise include “BYOD,” enterprise mobility management, MDM, network infrastructure and security, and application enablement across Windows, iOS/Mac OS and Android environments. Before joining Dell, Jason was a strategic solutions consultant for Simplify and SPRINT where he advised Fortune 1000 companies and government organizations to help them develop and implement end-to-end secure mobility solutions.

Doug Darby has been in the technology industry for 24 years and at Citrix for the past 9.  Doug manages Citrix’s channel partner relationships in Texas.  At Citrix, partners like WhiteHat Virtual Technologies are key to ensuring our customers get the most return on the investments made into Citrix.   In our session we’ll explore how Citrix can make your organization more agile by enabling your mobility and cloud initiatives. 

Sam Spence - Sr. SE Director, Citrix Networking

Sam is the Sr. Director of System Engineering for Citrix, responsible for the Networking business in the Central part of the US.  Prior to Citrix, Sam managed the NetScaler SE team and helped direct the business until the acquisition of NetScaler in 2005.  A technology user, consumer, and advocate at heart, he is passionate about the innovation and changes a foot in the networking industry today.

Luke Wignall - GRID Senior Solution Architect, NVIDIA

Anyone who has worked to bring virtual desktops (VDI) into an environment knows the struggle of trying to make it better than a "meh" experience for even basic users, and it was impossible for high end 3D rendering users. NVIDIA GRID is the missing ingredient that makes it all possible. This game changing answer solves the biggest challenge of VDI, end user graphics, regardless if you have Citrix or VMware or Microsoft, or a hybrid of them, and it’s my job to assist in architecting the GRID solution in those environments.

Eric Puccio - GRID Sr. Business Development Mgr., NVIDIA

As a Sr. Business Development Manager with NVIDIA Corporation, I help improve organizations’ virtual app & desktop environments with NVIDIA GRID Technology. GPU-based GRID Technology is the missing piece to virtualize 2D and 3D applications, and rich multimedia content providing a great user experience. This technology allows an organization to securely centralize and virtualize GPU-intense applications, which historically could only be run locally on GPU-enabled PCs and laptops.

Josh Donelson - Pre-Sales Manager, AppSense

Josh Donelson is a Solutions Specialist at AppSense in the Americas region, and   has been with AppSense for 4 years. Prior to AppSense, Josh worked at VMware as an architect as an Architect and at Dell, Inc as a Server and Storage Design  Engineer. Josh has spent the last decade designing and selling server, storage, virtualization, and end-user computing solutions across SMB and commercial accounts, as well as helping to drive strategic partnerships between Alliance vendors. Josh holds an MS in Electrical Engineering from the University of Texas, and an MBA from St. Edward’s University in Austin, TX.

Based on market, demand, and TransformaTech expertise, Bill later transformed TransformaTech to formalize a practice around Virtualization and Monitoring. This practice had a lot of success with Monitoring as a Service (MaaS) and managed service offerings where their clients trusted TransformaTech to monitor and support their critical environments and applications. Goliath Technologies acquired TransformaTech in 2014.

Gary Geddes is a Datacenter Solutions Specialist for Microsoft Corporation based in Austin, Texas. Geddes provides guidance to large enterprises in how to optimize their Datacenter security and management practices. He has over 15 years of hands-on security and systems management experience and specializes in Cloud infrastructure for the large enterprise. Prior to joining Microsoft, he served as a Vice President of Professional Services at Internet Security Systems and held senior security positions at Archer Technologies, EDS, and the Department of Defense.
